Mesothelioma Claim
We acted for Mr Washington in relation to his claim against his former employers. He had worked as a Lagger, mixing and applying asbestos-based lagging to pipework in the early 1960s. He had developed mesothelioma as a result of this.
It was likely that he would become very ill in the future as a result of his condition. He had been fit and active but was unlikely to be able to continue with his normal daily activities in the future. We settled his claim within 5 months of first being contacted by Mr Washington in the sum of £177,000.

Asbestosis
We recently settled a claim for Mr Richards. He had been diagnosed as suffering from asbestosis. He had worked as a Scaffolder in the 1960s. He had put up the scaffolding. People would then be working on this, using asbestos. He would then take the scaffolding down and as a result, he would be exposed to asbestos dust.
We settled this claim within 6 months of receiving initial instructions from him in the sum of £115,000.

Pleural Thickening
We recently acted for Mr Thomas who had developed pleural thickening. He had worked with asbestos whilst employed by various different firms in the building trade.
Whilst he was not substantially disabled as a result of his condition, he was breathless on exertion and was less able than he had been before the development of his condition. We settled his claim in the sum of £45,000, 6 months after he first contacted us.
