You may have read about the recent changes to how law firms can operate. Often referred to as ‘Tesco Law’, it is now open for non-law firms to enter into the legal market and deal with matters previously only dealt with by solicitors.

People will vote with their feet and there can be no doubt that, for some legal services, this may be beneficial for the consumer. In some areas, however, we would urge great caution. One of those is asbestos claims.
